After getting such a powerful skill from the first gold gift box, Uchiha Yuan eagerly opened the second.
Inside this golden box was a card.
Yuan found it oddly familiar. As he touched the card, its information surfaced in his mind:
Item Name: [Super Random Attribute Point Booster]
Item Type: Enhancement Item
Effect: Grants 100 to 1000 random attribute points upon use. Comes with a bonus special gift box.
Note: This draw is 100% fair, transparent, and random. No tricks involved—the points are entirely luck-based.
Seeing the disclaimer, Yuan twitched at the corner of his mouth. It really is that thing again!
Last time he used a similar coupon, he got just 2 points. But now the range was 100 to 1000—meaning the minimum was a guaranteed 100.
Muttering "No minimum roll" three times in his head, Yuan activated the card.
"Congratulations, player has received 127 attribute points."
While not a jackpot, 127 wasn't a low roll either. Yuan was content as long as it wasn't the bottom 102.
With this, he now had 129 attribute points.
The so-called special gift box appeared next—a purple box.
Yuan opened it casually. Inside was a scroll:
Item Name: [Fire Release: Majestic Destroyer Flame]
Item Type: Ninjutsu Scroll
Effect: Instantly grants the user knowledge of Fire Release: Majestic Destroyer Flame
Note: In the hands of a true powerhouse, this B-rank jutsu can rival the power of S-rank Fire Release.
Yuan was familiar with this technique. In the original work, Uchiha Madara had used it after being reincarnated during the Fourth Great Ninja War.
He spewed forth an enormous sea of flames, so vast that it took over twenty allied Mist shinobi casting Water Wall to block it. It was arguably the most prestigious B-rank Fire technique.
Yuan opened the scroll and learned the jutsu, then allocated his 129 attribute points: 60 to Chakra, 69 to Eye Power.
Now his status looked like this:
Chakra: 326
Constitution: 145
Eye Power: 329
Vitality: 29
Nature Affinity: 4
Level: Lv32 (9/50)
Attribute Points: 0
With Eye Power hitting 300, Yuan suddenly felt warmth in his pupils, and a third tomoe slowly surfaced in the space between the other two.
At once, everything around him became far clearer.
A flying insect fluttering near the oil lamp looked like it was moving in slow-motion. Yuan calmly raised his hand and pinched it out of the air.
He then tested a genjutsu, and immediately felt the drastic difference—Three-Tomoe Sharingan amplified genjutsu power far more than the Two-Tomoe version.
"So this is the Three-Tomoe Sharingan? It really does feel completely different," Yuan said with excitement.
He now understood why this level of Sharingan could copy jutsu.
A ninja's hand seals, no matter how fast, couldn't outpace the fluttering of an insect's wings. If the Three-Tomoe Sharingan could track that, then reading hand signs was simple.
And with enough speed, he could even cast a copied jutsu faster than the opponent.
In a sense, unlocking the Three-Tomoe Sharingan meant unlocking the full baseline capabilities of the Sharingan.
Just like how Nagato used the basic powers of the Rinnegan through the Six Paths of Pain.
Techniques like Mangekyō-level ocular powers and Susanoo weren't part of the standard Sharingan toolset.
Used properly, Three-Tomoe Sharingan alone was enough to reach jonin level.
"Just in time for our return to the village. I should be able to learn clan-specific genjutsu by then," Yuan muttered.
The next morning, Yuan began his usual training with Yamanaka Kagetsu.
Just as they started running laps, Hyuga Asana arrived.
Kagetsu was surprised. Since becoming Orochimaru's disciple, Asana hadn't trained with them at all—why now?
"Asana, what brings you here?" he asked.
"Just thought I'd join you again. What? Not happy to see me?"
"Of course I am! You're always welcome."
"Then let's begin," she said, falling in step with them.
The three of them ran around the camp for over an hour before heading to breakfast together.
While Kagetsu was getting food, Asana leaned over and whispered to Yuan:
"Yuan, the village has approved the Hyuga main family's deployment. Lord Orochimaru has already made arrangements. They're heading to the front this afternoon. Their guards will be Orochimaru's men—two tokubetsu jonin and one jonin."
"That configuration is even more reliable than the Hyuga branch protectors. Even Nara Shikaku agreed," she added.
"When do we depart?"
"After breakfast, we'll go to the command tent. Orochimaru will issue the mission to us then."
Yuan nodded silently.
After the meal, Asana led them to Orochimaru's tent.
Since Shibi Aburame's departure six months ago, Yuan had often visited Orochimaru's camp.
Truthfully, due to Asana, Yuan had always considered Orochimaru a hypothetical future enemy.
So when facing him, he'd always felt a hint of unease. But today, with the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, Yuan felt much more composed.
He was confident his power now rivaled Uchiha Cai and the pre-injury Uchiha Mei.
Even most Kage-level opponents couldn't instantly kill an elite jonin—and Yuan had Teleportation. Against Orochimaru, he might not win, but he couldn't be easily defeated either. Orochimaru wouldn't be able to do much to him.
Orochimaru, for his part, noticed the change. Yuan now radiated far more confidence than before.
He studied Yuan with great interest. Yuan met his gaze without flinching, holding eye contact for a full ten seconds.
"Ahem! Lord Orochimaru, weren't you going to assign them a mission?" Nara Shikaku, sensing something off between the two, cleared his throat.
Orochimaru nodded and tossed a sealed scroll to Yuan. "This scroll contains your mission objective. I've already briefed Asana on the details. If you need specifics, ask her. You have half an hour to prepare before departure."
