Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

Recalling the essentials of Haki training taught by Zephyr, Chiga tried to guide this so-called latent power within his body.

As someone who had trained in Ryūchi Cave for two and a half years, Chiga was already intimately familiar with sensing his own power and the power of nature.

Slowly, Chiga's hands up to his wrists became covered in a layer of black.

Looking at his jet-black hands, Chiga clearly felt a surge of power. In his current state, even without entering Sage Mode, he could unleash Sage Mode level power.

But Chiga wasn't satisfied. There were still some things he hadn't tried: Chakra and Natural Energy!

"What would happen if I entered Sage Mode and reinforced my Armament Haki with senjutsu chakra, a combination of natural energy and chakra?"

Thinking this, he activated Ryūchi Cave Sage Mode, purple eyeshadow appearing around his eyes.

Chiga tried to inject the senjutsu chakra from his body into his hands, which were covered in Armament Haki. But as the senjutsu chakra flowed in, Chiga felt excruciating pain in his hands, as if they were about to crack open.

Large beads of sweat dripped from Chiga's face. He was about to give up and stopped injecting the senjutsu chakra.

Chiga felt he was being too hasty. After all, everything had to be done step by step, and simultaneously reinforcing both hands was too much for someone like him, who was just starting to learn Armament Haki.

After a moment, waiting for the pain to subside slightly, Chiga continued injecting senjutsu chakra. This time, he only injected it into his dominant right hand.

Although the injection process was still excruciatingly painful, because it was only one hand, he could perform it more precisely and effectively.

Slowly, the jet-black Armament Haki covering his right hand began to converge towards the center of his hand. The purple glow in Chiga's Rinnegan intensified, and he let out a low roar,

"Armament Haki, Sublimation!"

The next moment, the Armament Haki on Chiga's entire right hand condensed completely, finally forming a black circular pattern, like a black sun.

Looking at the circular pattern on the back of his hand, Chiga murmured to himself,

"The sublimated Armament Haki is all stored here. It's another heart providing me with power. I'll call it the Haki Heart."

With a thought, the circular pattern on the back of his hand instantly radiated five thick black lines towards the fingertips of Chiga's five fingers.

The five thick black lines were like five black blood vessels, continuously pouring a destructive power into Chiga's entire right hand.

"Hmph!"

Chiga clenched his fist and threw a punch at the air. The moment he punched, the circular pattern on the back of his hand pulsed like a beating heart, contracting sharply, and the five black thick lines also bulged.

A fist-shaped shockwave appeared and blasted towards a small hill in the distance.

Boom!!

With a loud bang, the small hill, dozens of meters high, was instantly leveled, and shattered rocks flew everywhere.

Chiga was very satisfied with the power of that last strike, but looking at the Haki Heart on his arm, which had visibly shrunk, he still felt there was a slight imperfection. He thought to himself,

"The Haki consumption is a bit severe. My newly cultivated Armament Haki can't be used as a regular attack yet."

Thinking about the attack form of that punch, Chiga recalled Kaguya's Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack.

Although there was still a gap in power, Chiga shamelessly named this move the "Vacuum Attack," a "youth version" of the Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack.

Of course, it would eventually be upgraded to the "flagship version"!

With the initial success of Armament Haki Sublimation, Chiga also deactivated Sage Mode, and the pattern on his hand disappeared.

The moment he returned to his normal state, a wave of fatigue washed over him. Chiga shook his head, used the Deva Path's ability to float, and then slowly flew towards the dormitory.

"Chiga, you're back!"

Chiga opened the dormitory door and looked at Bridge's bruised face, asking in confusion,

"Bridge, what happened to your face? Did the seniors beat you up?"

"Ahaha, I was just messing around with Graves and accidentally ran into a table. Sigh, no choice, just bad luck!"

Graves, with a cigar in his mouth, also walked over, put an arm around Bridge, and whispered with a chuckle into Bridge's ear,

"You're just too clumsy. How about a cigar? For pain relief!"

Bridge forced a smile that was uglier than crying and quickly waved his hands,

"No, no, I'm not used to cigars, and I won't be smoking them in the future."

"Don't be like that, come on, let me light it for you, don't be shy! We're buddies, right?"

"No, no, Brother Graves, really no!"

"Hmm? You're not giving me face? Light it!"

"Alright, alright, then just one!"

"Why are you sticking your head out?"

"Weren't you going to light it for me?"

"I'm telling you to light it for me now!"

These two clowns, Chiga shook his head helplessly and walked to his bunk, finding that his blanket and everything else had already been neatly folded.

Tsk, what thoughtful roommates! If this were on Blue Star, Chiga would definitely give them the title of "good sons."

Chiga, feeling gratified, plopped down on the bed, closed his eyes, and drifted off to sleep.
