Chapter 4 - chapter 4

As they arrived home, Jinho dragged Bobae inside, his grip on her arm firm. "Let's get one thing straight," he said, his voice low and menacing. "You're not allowed to love or be loved. You're just a maid, my maid. Don't disturb me with your friendships outside. Do you understand?"

Bobae nodded, feeling a surge of fear. "Yes, sir."

Jinho's eyes narrowed. "Good. Remember, you're nothing but a servant in this house. Don't forget your place."

He released her arm, and Bobae stumbled backward. "Go do your chores," he ordered, turning away from her.

Bobae nodded, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. She felt a sense of despair wash over her. She was trapped in this life, bound to serve Jinho without any freedom or joy.

As she walked away, Jinho's voice stopped her. "Bobae?"

"Yes, sir?" she replied, turning back.

"Don't think about Minho or anyone else," Jinho said, his eyes glinting with warning. "You're mine, and mine alone."

Bobae felt a chill run down her spine. She knew she had to be careful, or she'd face the consequences. She nodded and quickly retreated to her room, trying to process the emotions swirling inside her.

Jinho called out to Bobae, his voice echoing through the hallway. "Bobae! Come here for a moment."

Bobae hurried to his side, wiping her hands on her apron. "Yes, sir?"

"My brother Junpyo is returning from abroad," Jinho said, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Make sure his room is spotless and everything is in order. I want nothing out of place."

Bobae nodded quickly. "Yes, sir. I'll take care of it right away."

Jinho's gaze lingered on her for a moment before he turned away. "See that you do. And make sure the rest of the house is clean too. I don't want Junpyo finding any fault."

Bobae nodded again and hurried off to start cleaning. She knew that Jinho's brother was important, and she didn't want to risk facing his wrath if things weren't perfect.

As she worked, Bobae couldn't help but wonder what Junpyo would be like. Would he be as cold and demanding as Jinho, or would he be different? She pushed the thoughts aside and focused on cleaning, determined to do a good job.
