Chapter 35 - ch-35 The Final Month Before Akg’s Journey Begins

In the quiet calm of Pallet Town, life had taken a steady rhythm for Akg. The past two years had been transformative — both in the strength he gained and the relationships he nurtured.

Every morning, Akg made his way to Professor Oak's Laboratory, where he immersed himself in Pokémon biology, elemental theory, and breeding practices. His quick understanding and deep insights often surprised even the seasoned researchers. Daisy Oak, who initially saw him as just another bright young boy, had over time become one of his closest friends. The two often worked side-by-side, sharing ideas and even laughs over lunch breaks. Daisy admired Akg's focus and sincerity, and their friendship was built on mutual respect — though occasionally, her heart skipped a beat when he smiled a little too warmly.

In the afternoons, Akg made a routine stop at Ash's house, where he helped Delia Ketchum with her flower garden and shop displays. Their bond had grown slowly but meaningfully. Delia, impressed by his maturity and kindness, often called him "reliable" and trusted him with things even Ash wouldn't bother with. They shared stories, tea, and quiet moments that deepened their friendship.

Meanwhile, the Evergreen Forest remained his secret training ground.

There, he trained diligently with Rena, who had long since evolved from Ralts into a graceful and powerful Gardevoir. Her power and elegance were unmatched, and her psychic abilities could now crush even seasoned trainers' Pokémon. But with Akg, she was still the same loving and loyal partner who giggled at his jokes and blushed when he patted her head.

Gyarados, too, had become a fearsome companion. Under Akg's guidance, he reached Elite level, his control and sheer force honed through countless sessions by the lake. Though still prideful, Gyarados now bowed willingly to Akg, fully recognizing him as a master worthy of command.

And every night, without fail, Akg would call Serena, Korrina, and Chloe via video chat. The long-distance didn't matter — their bond remained strong. They watched each other grow, laughed over silly stories, and made plans for the future. The promise of traveling together still held strong in their hearts.

.....

Now, only one month remained until Akg would officially become of age and obtain his Trainer License.

He stood atop a hill near Pallet Town, with Rena beside him and Gyarados calmly coiled in the nearby river.

The wind gently brushed through his hair.

"It's almost time," he said softly, gazing at the horizon. "Just one more month… and everything changes."

Rena looked up at him, smiling as she telepathically whispered,

"We've waited long enough. Let's show the world who you really are, Master."
