My Name is Pokey, I was Gumby's Sidekick ever Since. I first met him ever since the 1950's... Well, Everyone assumed I was the Little Lost Pony, But I am Not really Lost you know... I just wanted to Explore What's outside the Book Known as Western Stories... Because I was Tired of staying in the Book All Day...
Anyway, Now Let me Tell you the Story and the Callback Where I first met Gumby, ever since he rescued me... TWICE.
It all Started in 1950's, I first Met Gumby when I was Stuck in the Train Track... But He rescued me for the First Time.
"Boy, Am I Glad I rescued you," said Gumby to me. "Where are you from, little Lost Pony?"
"Well, I wanted to thank you for rescuing me for the first time, I'm Not really Lost," I said. "I just wanted to Explore because It is Getting Really tiresome."
"Oh, I see, and you are very welcome," said Gumby. "What's Your Name?
"My name is Pokey," I said.
"What a Funny Name," Gumby laughed as he rolled on the floor and laughed.
"What's your Name?" I asked.
"My name is Gumby," said Gumby.
I Laughed and thought it was a Hilarious Name as Well. Little did we Know, We are being followed by the Blockheads. If you are wondering, The Blockheads wanted to kidnap me so they can get Ice cream...
"Where do you live, Pokey?" asked Gumby. he was so curious that he wanted to know where I live.
"You wanna know where I Live?" I said.
"Yes," said Gumby.
"Just follow Me," I said. "I'll Show you." So I led Gumby to the Western Stories. But the Blockheads are still Following Us. We don't know why, But You Know the Rest. The Blockheads are obsessed with Causing Mischief for us and gets away with it, But we manage to defeat them in the end.
We arrived at the Western Stories, Where there were Towns and Farms.
"Here we Are, Gumby," I said.
"Wow, Pokey," said Gumby. "This is the Place where you live?"
"Yep," I said. "It's called the western Stories, Come on In, I'll give you the Tour."
"Okay," said Gumby. And We went through the Book of Western Stories.
I gave him a Tour inside, Around the Town... I also Gave him a Tour to the Ice cream Bar, Where the Bartender serves Ice Cream and Chocolate Milk.
"Here we are, Gumby," I said. "The Ice cream Bar."
"Wait, Pokey," said Gumby.
"What is it, Gumby?" I asked.
"Can I just get Chocolate Milk?" said Gumby.
"Why?" I asked.
"My Gumbometer," said Gumby.
"What about it?" I asked.
"Well, My Parents wanted me to bring the Gumbometer with me," said Gumby.
"Why is That?" I asked.
"Well," said Gumby. "I went to the Moon, It was Cold there... And all... And I was Ambushed by the Aliens on the Moon when I was Exploring there... But My Dad Managed to Rescue me and brought the Alien repellent and the Eskimo with him and used the Ladder of the Fire truck to ascend there so He found me in the Crater. My Dad's a Fire fighter by the Way... And as a Firefighter, They rescue people... I was Ambushed by the Aliens who pretended to be Stones. But Lucky My Dad brought the repellent with him to scare away the Aliens... That is before I fell into a Coma from freezing. And My Dad took Me Home and to the Hospital... and My Mom is dressed up as a Nurse... And My Parents did the best they can to bring me Back to Life."
"Wait," I said. "You Mean to Say You went to the Moon? It's too Cold there."
"I know," said Gumby. "I was on the Moon, But Thanks to my Dad Rescuing Me, I am Glad to be Back."
"That's Great, Gumby," I said. "But If You are Concern About How Hot and Cold You are Getting. I understand. I'll get you a Milkshake without Ice Cream regardless."
"Thanks, Pokey," said Gumby. "You are a Pal."
"Yep," I said as I turn to the Bartender. "Hey, Bartender, One Milkshake for me and One Milkshake without Ice cream for Gumby, Please."
"Coming Up," said the Bartender, So He made the Ice cream milkshake for me. Little did we Know... The Blockheads Put the Ice cream In Gumby's Shake as Well... So that Gumby can Freeze like a Popsicle.
Eventually, after Gumby Freeze,
"Gumby? Gumby? Are you Alright?" I asked while Shaking Gumby, But Gumby did Not Move... I turned to the Bartender. "Hey, Bartender."
"Yes, Pokey? Is there a Problem?" said the Bartender as He noticed Gumby is frozen Solid... "My Goodness, What Happened to your Friend?"
"I know," I said. "Just Get him some Hot Cocoa to Warm Him Up, Please."
"Alright," said the Bartender. "One Cocoa Coming up."
I waited for the Bartender to make Cocoa, But the Lasso Came Out of Nowhere and Caught Gumby, I cut the Lasso with My Teeth.
Eventually, I Got hot cocoa for Gumby, And When I was trying to Warm him up with the Blanket... "Hey, Gumby," I said. "How do you Feel?"
"What happened?" asked Gumby.
"You froze like a Popsicle Stick," I said. "That's Why I got you a--"
Then it Happen, The Lasso caught me by the neck and Dragged me Out the Bar... "ARGH! HELP ME!"
Then When I was being Dragged away from the Town, I noticed the Blockheads Kidnapped Me...
Eventually, Gumby Came to My Rescue, Again, Thwarting the Blockheads.
"Holy Toledo, Gumby," I cried. "You saved my Life, Again! Thanks again, Gumby."
"You are Quite Welcome, Pokey," said Gumby. "so the Blockheads are trying to kidnap you, huh?"
"Yep," I said. "And they are the Ones Who put Ice cream into your Milkshake to make you freeze like a popsicle."
"Ah, I see," said Gumby.
Eventually, We arrived at the Farm, I lived with Farmer Glenn.
"Where have you been, Pokey?" asked Farmer Glenn. "I was worried about you. But I am Glad you are Back."
"Well, Farmer Glenn," I said. "I want you to Meet my New Friend Gumby. I was giving him a Tour here. and He rescued me Twice."
"Yeah," said Gumby. "I saw Pokey on TV before I rescued Him, sir."
"Call me Glenn," said Farmer Glenn. "But Anyways, My Boy, As a Reward for rescuing my Pony and bringing him back safely, I would like to give you an Ice cream."
"Thanks, Farmer Glenn," said Gumby as he received as Ice Cream... Then the Gumbometer changed to Cold...
"Holy Toledo," I exclaimed. "Farmer Glenn! Gumby is turned into Popsicles again!"
"Oh, My," exclaimed Farmer Glenn. "Let's Get Him Warmed up with Hot Water, Blanket and some Cocoa."
Eventually, Gumby soaked his feet in the warm Basin of Water, sitting on the foot Stool, Wrapped around the Blanket, and Drinking Hot Cocoa.
"How Do You Feel, Gumby?" asked Farmer Glenn.
"I feel Warmer already," said Gumby.
"Yeah, We're Glad you are Okay," I said. "But you should get Home, Your Parents are Worried about you."
"Golly," said Gumby. "You're Right... I better get Home Before Sunset... I wish I could stay and Hang Out, But I better get Home. I'll See you Tomorrow."
We Bid Each other good bye, And Gumby bid goodbye to Farmer Glenn, too.
I was Glad to have a Friend... Yet I was Sad... I never seen a Family of my Own before... That was Before Farmer Glenn adopted me as a Foal. He Took Care of me ever since before I met Gumby... And That's How I met Gumby and How we became friends.
That was Before We Had a Gumby Movie in 1995, Where Gumby has a Girlfriend named Tara.
Well, That's the End of the Flashback, Which is the Introduction...
It was an Amazing Callback Perhaps? Or Maybe a Weird Callback? Who Knows?
But Anyways, Thanks for reading... This will be where my Odd adventure begin... Where it's My Turn to Rescue Gumby, Like he rescued me.
