Without him realizing it, he leaned over and kissed her bare shoulder. He was not thinking straight when he gave up to his desire and desperation.
"Shayne…" Nadia moaned his name and this snapped the alpha from his reverie. He slightly backed away from her.
However, Nadia stood up and then cradled him, she pushed him down to the bed.
"Nobody knew about this," she said. She looked at him differently. This was not an innocent look and casual touch that she used to display.
Shayne felt his throat turned very dried when he watched how the dress slid down her body.
This was not the body that he wanted to see, this was not the woman that he wanted to touch, but she was the one he had right now…
"We have done it once," Nadia said, as she lowered her body and whispered to his ear. "There is no difference if we did it again."

Fenja pushed Jaxon away from her as hard as she could, until he could feel her unwillingness.
Thankfully, he voluntarily backed away from her. His eyes were hurt from the rejection.
"Al- alpha… this is not right." Fenja was scared, she was breathing raggedly, she still could taste the flavor of noodles he just ate. Euh. It was far away from how she imagined her night would be.
"Why did you reject me?" Jaxon was frowning so hard. "Why did you reject me? What have I done?"
"Alpha?" Fenja was scared now, because he didn't look like himself.
"Why couldn't I kiss you?" He took a step forward to approach her again, but then stopped when he saw the horror in her eyes. "Don't look at me like that, I will not hurt you. I promise. I will not hurt you. I swore, I will not let Mr. Thorne hurt you."
"What?" Who was Mr. Thorne? His sibling? This situation became more confusing.
"Don't leave me, don't leave me, please. I will never harm you."
"Alpha, please, leave… please leave my place."
However, suddenly Jaxon grunted, his legs buckled down and he pulled his hair tightly, he muttered under his breath, as he hit his own head.
"No! No! No!"
"Alpha?" Fenja became even more scared to see the way he acted. "Are you, okay?"
Against her better judgment, Fenja crouched down and approached him. She touched his arm and tried to stop him from hitting himself.
"Alpha, don't do this, you will hurt yourself!" Her voice laced with panic.
Alpha Jaxon, by any mean, was not a small person, it felt like pulling a tree when she tried to stop him from hurting himself.
What was going on?!
However, two minutes later Fenja could feel this chill ran down her spine when she met the alpha's eyes.
He lifted his head and glared at Fenja with the pair of eyes that a moment ago filled with sadness and pain, they were laced with killing intent now.
Fenja was too late to react when his strong fingers wrapped around her neck and pushed her down to the floor.
Her head hit the solid material so hard, she felt like it would split into two. Her ears were ringing painfully and black dots filled her vision.
The last thing she saw was the alpha's furious expression. He said something angrily, while his hand still wrapped around her neck, chocking her to death.

Shayne opened his eyes and found Nadia was sleeping next to him, she snuggled against his body, as they were still naked.
His eyes widened, he wondered how she could be here, but then he remembered every detail that had happened last night and how he ended up in her bed. Shayen recognized it was Nadia's bedroom.
As a strong feeling of guilt washed over him, he immediately stood up. This sudden move, stirred Nadia awake, she rubbed her sleepy eyes and then watched the alpha hastily put on his pants.
"Shayne?" Nadia called his name groggily, but he didn't reply to her and immediately rushed out of the bedroom, leaving her there alone.
Nadia bit her lip. She watched the mess they had created the previous night and felt this emptiness in her heart when she realized she was alone. Shayne left her just like that after he got what he wanted with her.
However, that was not his fault.
"But, this is not my fault too…" Nadia hugged herself, she cried silently.
The way Shayne ditched her this morning was not as painful as when he called Fenja's name mid thrust last night. He didn't even realize it. Nadia didn't even think he remembered about it too.
She bit her lip, her body was still sore, but the void in her heart was hard to ignore.

Fenja opened her eyes and the first thing she heard was the sound of people talking around her. There were around four people or more, but someone opened the door followed by the sound of footsteps and their muffled conversation faded away.
The room was quiet again.
Fenja didn't dare to open her eyes, because she could feel there was still one person inside the room. She didn't know why she chose this ridiculous act and stay silent instead of waking up like normal people did.
That person was standing next to her and she could smell cigar and cinnamon from him, but this time the cigar was very strong.
Fenja could imagine his sharp eyes were staring at her, observing her closely, to the point it was very uncomfortable.
"You are awake."
That was not a question, but a statement, which made Fenja couldn't continue with her pretension. She opened her eyes sheepishly and meet with his.
"Uhm… just now," Fenja said hoarsely, she was still scared of him. She remembered what happened.
"How is your head? You feel pain somewhere?" He pressed the button next to the bed, but his eyes didn't leave Fenja. There were indescribable emotions behind those eyes.
"No. I am fine."
