JANVI'S POV
It was just a game.
Just a stupid, harmless game during the school's "Break the Ice" activity hour.
"Truth or Dare," someone had yelled in class. And before I could escape, I was already dragged into the circle — right between Krish and Yug.
Lucky me.
The bottle spun, and of course, it landed on me first.
"Truth or dare?" one of the girls asked, grinning like a devil.
I raised a brow. "Dare."
Gasps. Laughter. Mistake? Probably.
"I dare you…" she paused, looking between Krish and Yug like a villain, "to let one of the guys here whisper something in your ear. And you can't react — no matter what they say."
Great. Fantastic. Who even makes these rules?
Before I could object, Krish leaned in, slow and confident, lips dangerously close to my ear.
"You drive me insane," he whispered, his breath warm against my skin. "And I'd do very bad things to make you mine."
My heart? Dead. Gone. Melted.
I clenched my jaw. No reaction. I refused to give him the satisfaction.
But I could feel his smug smile beside me.
Then, to everyone's surprise, Yug spoke.
"I want a turn."
People laughed, but he didn't smile. He leaned in on my other side, voice steady, serious.
"You don't have to pretend around me," he whispered. "You don't have to play games. I already love the real you."
My breath caught.
This time, I looked away. Because that did affect me.
I could feel Krish's stare now — colder than usual. Sharp. He didn't like what Yug had just done.
And later that day, as I walked down the empty corridor, Krish caught up to me.
"You liked it, didn't you?" he asked.
"What?"
"What Yug said. You liked hearing that."
I folded my arms. "What does it matter?"
Krish stepped in closer — too close. His jaw clenched, voice low.
"Because if he thinks he can steal you... he's wrong."
I stared into his eyes, heart pounding. "And what if I want to be stolen?"
For a second, everything went quiet. Then his hand slid to my waist, pulling me just a little closer
"You won't. Not when I'm done with you. .
