Muria mimicked the Shadow of Slaughter, or more precisely, the energy impact cannon released by the legendary creature Sacrificial Bull, forcing Ilvester to strike back with a spear light. Ring-shaped shockwaves continuously spread out in the sky.
Such a phenomenon stunned countless beings in the region. In the Frost Giant city located directly beneath Synapse, the tens of thousands of Frost Giants residing there all looked up to the sky. Even the three deities they worshipped cast their gaze upon the scene, the power fluctuations were too shocking to ignore.
Boom!
The powers of Muria and Ilvester clashed violently, resulting in a massive explosion. At the center of the blast, the space collapsed and shattered before quickly healing.
"Brother-in-law, not bad, you've gotten stronger than you were five years ago!" Muria's chest rose and fell slightly, having output a lot of power in a short time, feeling a bit drained. Of course, the Celestial descendant across from him was not faring much better.
"Hmph, you're the one who's weak, five years and not a bit of progress." Ilvester snorted coldly, showing no courtesy. Ever since their duel ended in a draw, he had been brooding, training even harder than before.
"I haven't made any progress? Yet you still can't defeat me!" Muria said with a chuckle. Ilvester was a Tier-3 Legend, and without an epic setting the stage to suppress his power, he could essentially unleash his full strength. Even so, he still couldn't defeat Muria, only gaining a slight upper hand.
"Muria, don't get too arrogant. I was holding back some of my power." Ilvester, his expression stern and solemn, suppressed his anger, displaying a hint of the majesty befitting a Celestial. He had the potential to become one.
"You can unleash your full power and see if you can beat me!" Muria's expression was indifferent. What else could he say? Thank his hostile brother-in-law for holding back? Ridiculous, Ilvester restrained his strength out of Celestial pride, not for any other reason.
Boom——rumble——
Before Ilvester could respond, a massive explosion sounded. The rapidly descending Cloud City was slowing down, finally stopping in mid-air, hovering above Synapse.
"Brother, is your reason for entangling with me and descending to the lower realm just to fight Muria?"
A crimson Celestial descended from a spatial passage that opened between Muria and Ilvester. A tall, slender figure appeared, stepping on flames. Muria's eyes revealed unrestrained joy at the sight. Mikaela had also come down.
"At the time, no. I just wanted to see the scenery of the main world, it had been a while since I came down." Ilvester quickly denied it. Come down specifically to trouble Muria? What a joke. As Mikaela's brother, how could he be so petty?
"But before I could stabilize Cloud City, you didn't help me and instead went to fight Muria." Mikaela was a bit annoyed. It was her first time operating such a massive Cloud City, and her brother had been guiding her. But as soon as he saw her fiancé, he disappeared to go fight.
This was too irresponsible. The worst part was, he didn't even take her along to fight. It was intolerable, unforgivable.
"Ahem, I just hadn't seen Muria in a while and felt a bit itchy, couldn't help but spar a bit."
"Hehe!" Muria laughed coldly, showing no inclination to cover for his brother-in-law.
"In that case, brother, you should unleash your full power. Let's fight you together with Muria!"
"No need, I don't feel like fighting now!" Ilvester responded with a black face. Let his sister and Muria team up against him? No way.
"Brother, how can you be like this?" Mikaela, seeing Ilvester put away his spear and retract all flames, was unwilling. She had just advanced and was eager to test her newfound legendary power.
"If you want to fight, fight Muria. You're at similar levels now, Muria isn't much stronger than you."
Ilvester was unwilling to become the catalyst for Muria and Mikaela's relationship growth.
"I think it's better for Mikaela and me to team up against you!" Muria laughed. Seeing his brother-in-law's face darken further, he laughed even more.
Happiness is built on the pain of one's enemies, and his hostile brother-in-law could temporarily be considered an enemy. To expect Muria to placate him? Maybe in another life.
"Hmph! You two fight yourselves!" Ilvester snorted and vanished in a blaze.
"Muria," the heroic Celestial girl turned to Muria, with a slight apologetic look, "I initially wanted to bring Cloud City down to see you alone, but my brother insisted on coming along."
"No problem, I got to stretch a bit. I haven't had a good fight in a while." Muria shook his head nonchalantly, "This fight was enjoyable."
"So, are you rested now?"
"Huh?"
"You fought my brother, aren't you going to fight me?" Mikaela moved her limbs, a smile of excitement gradually spreading on her face.
"...Alright."
...
"Shouldn't we help? Those two angels, taking turns fighting Muria, it's too much!" The ancient green dragon Fiona asked the surrounding legends as she watched Mikaela fighting Muria.
"Help with what? This is Muria's personal matter, we shouldn't interfere!" Mia sighed, knowing about Mikaela from Muria, understanding it was best to do nothing now.
"Disperse!" Cynthia, the red dragon and leader of the Reprimand Legion, who had never been acknowledged by Muria, scratched her chin discontentedly. Next to her, Jessica, who had barely eaten anything in five years and had slimmed down considerably, had glowing eyes.
"These aren't angels, they're Celestial descendants!" Deep Hell Flame Demon Miles said reverently. These beings could absolutely suppress him, whether the one who left or the girl now fighting Muria, could kill him effortlessly.
"They even brought Cloud City down. This Celestial descendant might be our future mistress." Cynthia said uncertainly.
