Chapter 616 - Chapter 616: White Dragon, Interested in a Spar?

"Are these cloud islands yours?" Mikaela looked surprised; she hadn't expected to see such a sight in Erathia.

"Yes." Muria felt a bit embarrassed. He glanced up at the Cloud City hanging in the sky, then looked down at Synapse below, where the development progress was less than ten percent, with large areas still undeveloped. Compared to Mikaela's Cloud City, his Synapse seemed like a rural village cluster.

"Sorry to show you this, it's nothing compared to your Cloud City."

"There's nothing to be sorry about. My Cloud City wasn't earned by myself but allocated based on my talent. But you, Muria, you acquired all these cloud islands through your own efforts."

"Heh." Muria chuckled dryly. Synapse was, in a way, something he had taken by force. "Let's not talk about this. Mikaela, can you show me around your Cloud City? I haven't had a chance to look closely at a Celestial's Cloud City."

"Sure, but the clan only assigned me fifty thousand angels, so my city might seem a bit empty."

"Why so few?" Muria was puzzled. He had seen Mikaela's status among the Celestials when he declared his intention to marry her. The overwhelming number of Celestial descendants and angels surrounding the arena at that time had all wanted to fight him to the death.

"Because they know I'm here to help you," Mikaela said with a smile.

"If you weren't here to help me, how many angels could you command?"

"About five hundred thousand?" Mikaela was unsure. "That's the number my brother commands."

"Then you would have even more." Muria felt a bit guilty, realizing that Mikaela had only received fifty thousand because of him.

"Your Celestial clan is a bit too much," Muria said, feeling indignant but understanding the Celestials' reasoning from their perspective.

"It's okay. With the Angel Rebirth Pool, as long as there are kind-hearted people or pure souls, I can build a sufficiently large angel army."

"Kind-hearted souls?" Muria mused, thinking he had found another way to enlist humans.

Humans have many evil individuals, but there are definitely many kind-hearted people as well. Transforming into angels and becoming immortal beings would be a reward for the righteous. After all, not all angels need to fight.

Next, Muria followed Mikaela to tour her Cloud City. As she mentioned, apart from some key buildings where angels maintained normal operations, other areas were empty and desolate. If not for the holy light permeating everywhere, it would have been quite eerie.

"Right now, if I don't concentrate on controlling it, this Cloud City won't move at all!" Mikaela sighed. "I have too few angels under my command, and most buildings can't be activated. They all require angels to operate."

"Don't worry, this problem will be resolved soon." Muria smiled, comforting the Celestial girl.

"This is the Angel Rebirth Pool? What an incredible creation, it can transform species." Muria was full of admiration as he looked at the huge lake filled with milky white liquid.

He felt the pure holy power and vast life force contained within. It could transform a kind life or soul into an angel and heal or even resurrect injured or dead angels, provided the soul remained somewhat intact.

Holy Light Cannons, Divine Punishment Annihilation Cannons, Eternal Celestial Reactors... Under Mikaela's guidance, Muria learned about the structure of Cloud City in detail. The Celestial's Cloud City was a purely holy floating city with numerous defense and attack units, as well as residential, medical, educational, training, and entertainment areas.

Mikaela's Cloud City was an oversized floating city capable of accommodating more than ten million angels, with no hive-like skyscrapers. The angels' residences were all individual buildings. The visible area of Mikaela's floating city alone exceeded ten thousand square kilometers, not counting the twenty-seven semi-planes.

"Mikaela, although you have fifty thousand angels, they are needed to maintain the Cloud City's operation. If you need to go to battle, there won't be any angels to follow you." Muria looked at the vast facilities of Cloud City, feeling guilty.

"That's true, so I'll rely on you to build my angel army, Muria." Mikaela smiled radiantly, not bothered by it.

"Don't worry, I'll help you build an angel army as soon as possible." Muria thought, realizing he shouldn't limit his angel transformation targets to just the humans in Synapse. Claudia the White Dragon and the little queen Remilia he raised also ruled over many humans.

"Mikaela, I have a request." Muria carefully chose his words. "I want to use your Angel Rebirth Pool to transform some of my human alchemists into angels."

"Sure." The Celestial girl agreed readily. "You can use the Angel Rebirth Pool as you wish. The energy reserves are abundant!"

"Great." Muria smiled. This way, his short-lived human researchers would have longer lifespans to serve him better, freed from the limitations of human bodies.

Moreover, angel transformation could be a reward in Synapse. There was also dragon blood transformation and giant bloodline implantation. For those with normal worldviews, becoming an angel seemed the best choice.

"By the way, where are the twelve Cloud Cities I gave you? I don't see them." Standing on the edge of Mikaela's floating city, Muria looked down.

The vast, continent-like Cloud City floated, radiating endless light with no shadows, but no other Cloud Cities surrounded it.

"They're still under construction. Muria, don't worry. In a few years, they'll notify me. Don't worry, Celestial descendants never break their promises." Seeing Muria's reaction, Mikaela laughed, feeling very good.

After touring Mikaela's huge and luxurious Cloud City, Muria took her to visit his Synapse. As Mikaela said, Synapse was indeed inferior to her Cloud City, but it was something Muria earned through his efforts, so he wasn't ashamed.

On the Wind King Castle in the central cloud island, Muria and Mikaela stood before his crystal throne, summoning all the rulers and managers of Synapse. One was absent, the Abyssal Demon Miles, who managed Synapse's intelligence and dark side.

He had notified Muria in advance through their contract, and Muria had agreed. Muria wanted Mikaela to know everything about him but preferred to avoid unnecessary conflicts.

"Why are there so many chromatic dragons and frost giants?" During Muria's introduction, Mikaela only gave Mia a pleasant look. As for the others, she felt she was being polite enough by not drawing her sword, considering Muria's face.

Whether it was chromatic dragons or frost giants, they were natural enemies of Celestial descendants.

Ancient green dragon Fiona, the flame dragon princess Sephilia with red dragon blood, the three legendary frost giants who submitted to Muria, the flesh-stitched beast Fenlin... None of Muria's legendary followers pleased Mikaela.

"Ahem, you can all leave now!" After the introductions, Muria waved his hand, dismissing his followers. He then looked at Mikaela, who had a neutral expression.

"Mikaela, do you think all my followers are evil beings? I can't speak for them before, but since they followed me, they haven't done anything evil."

"I don't understand why you would allow these evil creatures to follow you. Couldn't you just kill them?"

Muria smirked. As expected of the favored Celestial genius, it was easy for her to say, "Mikaela, these 'evil' followers were forced to submit to me through strength. Otherwise, I wouldn't have my current team."

"Alright, I understand." Mikaela frowned, recalling the Titan's "stingy" method of raising offspring and somewhat understanding Muria's actions. "But if they continue to do evil, what will you do?"

"I will deal with them as necessary. I will never tolerate my followers doing evil." Muria said solemnly. This was his requirement for those under him.

"Muria, what's the deal with that city in the sky? Where did you get such a large floating city?"

As Muria made assurances to Mikaela, a slender, elegant pure white dragon flew up from below Synapse, carrying specks of ice crystals. The cloud giants guarding the castle didn't have time to stop or warn, and the graceful white dragon barged in.

"Who are you? An angel?"

"Muria, is this also one of your dragons?"

Two voices questioned Muria, making his head ache.

"Mikaela, this is Claudia, the most talented white dragon under my command. She now rules a nation."

"Uh, this is my fiancée, Mikaela from the Celestial clan."

"Oh!" Claudia nodded indifferently.

"The most talented white dragon," the Celestial girl smiled, summoning a legendary longsword forged from golden flames. "Seems worth a fight. Interested in a spar?"
