Mila tried not to think about what had happened back at home, she was on her way to meet Peach, and she needed to be in the best of her calm moments. She shouldn't let Zyran and her family get under her skin.
Getting to where Peach had texted for them to meet, Mila covered her eyes with dark shades and her face with a nose mask. Somehow, she felt it was better that Zyran was occupied since he wouldn't go about tailing her, but regardless Mila still looked around before she entered the small, almost rundown cafe.
It wasn't hard to find Peach since the room was almost empty with just two patrons, including Peach.
"Mila," Peach pushed her chair back and stood up the moment she saw Mila, wrapping her arm around Mila's neck. The girl sobbed, "They said Dad might be given a life sentence and Mum... they won't let me see her." She buried her face on Mila's shoulder and cried.
