"I'll show them to their rooms," Aclric offered, already turning toward the staircase.
"Good," Helena nodded. She turned to the butler. "Bretum, take their luggage up."
"As you say, my lady," Bretum bowed respectfully and started helping with the suitcases.
Just then, footsteps echoed from the upper floor. A girl around seventeen came walking down gracefully. Charles and Edward's eyes widened the moment they saw her.
"Eira?" Charles whispered in surprise.
She smiled warmly at them. "Welcome."
Edward looked at Aclric, then back at Eira, confused. Aclric just looked away awkwardly.
"She's been living with us," Helena explained casually. "She's part of the family now."
Eira nodded and smiled again.
"You kids must be tired," Helena added. "Go freshen up and get some rest."
Eira, with a playful grin, suggested, "Why not take a group bath? It'll help you relax."
Helena clapped her hands. "That's a great idea!"
Charles blushed. "Ah—Miss Helena?"
