"Let go!" I screamed into the overwhelming darkness. I clutched my chest desperately as the wailing pierced the darkness, the sobs so fierce that I bowed my head.
Unable to contain the grief anymore, My chest tightened painfully, each breath ragged, as I yearned desperately for silence to calm the storm raging inside me.
Just then, a bright light shone, too distant.
I tried to look through it but couldn't. I lowered my head in defeat. But suddenly, I saw a man standing just by the light. He was so tall, mighty, his body lightly scarred, but I didn't see his face. However, he wore something that looked like a necklace.
Then, like a flash, my eyes settled on the sparkling substance that radiated from his neck, the necklace. I felt something stir in me, and then the loud cries filled my ears. A loud scream left my lips…
