"That's mean of you, Muffy. Since when am I bad at painting?"
"If someone sees what you paint, they'll surely be traumatized."
"Is it that bad?"
She nods. I glance at Kai, my eyes judging him.
"Am I worse than him?"
"Yes, Jessie. Now stop complaining and go start painting."
"I never complained."
"Jessie."
I hear her threatening tone, so I walk to my seat and start painting. But I can feel Kai's gaze sticking to me like a knife. I look up at him, then back at my painting. I was trying to paint a pretty black flower with some blood on it, but his gaze started to annoy me. I take a deep breath.
"Are you staring at me?"
"Who else?"
"Why are you staring at me? Do I have something on my face or in my hair?"
"Nope."
"Then stop staring. It's making me uncomfortable."
"How else am I supposed to paint you?"
"Paint me? Why me?"
I freeze as he asks me that. Didn't I pay attention to what the two seniors said? It's not like I didn't want to pay attention, I just got distracted. My mutter was loud enough for him to hear, and it made him giggle.
That dude is annoying. I don't like him.
"Don't laugh."
"Sorry." He continues painting me.
"Make sure I look hot."
"Hot? You're nothing close to hot though."
"Excuse me?? What's that supposed to mean??"
My voice was a tiny bit too loud.
"Jessie, stop talking and concentrate, will you?"
"Sorry." I look back at my painting.
So annoying. I want to go back home.
To be continued...
