When she arrived, she had already seen them linking pinkies, but she didn't interrupt.

As a mother, she naturally understood her daughter. Judging by her daughter's appearance, she seemed to have cried. It was probable that her daughter's relationship with that little boy was not as simple as it seemed, but she wasn't against it.

She had sent Serena all the way here precisely to let her make more friends. It seemed many interesting things had happened along the way, and she was indeed a bit curious.

"Yes!!" Hearing her mother say it was time to go home, Serena was still a little reluctant, but with Ash's assurance, she no longer fretted, nodding in response.

She silently touched the straw hat on her head. As her fingers brushed against it, she suddenly remembered something.

"Ah!! Oh no!" Touching the straw hat, she suddenly recalled something. She pulled out a blue handkerchief from her pocket and looked forward, but Ash's figure was long gone.

That was the handkerchief Ash had used to bandage her wound. Later, she had washed it, intending to return it to Ash, but had forgotten.

"Serena? What's wrong??" Grace turned around, seeing her daughter hadn't moved, and asked.

"No… nothing, I'm coming!"

Hearing Grace's voice, Serena ultimately didn't chase after him, nor did she tell her mother. Instead, she tightly clutched the handkerchief in her hand and pressed it to her chest.

"Forget it! I'll return it to him next time we meet!"

Actually, she could have just said something, or given it to Professor Oak to pass on, but Serena ultimately carefully put the handkerchief away, hoping that one day she could return it to him herself.

Or perhaps… she simply wanted to keep the handkerchief, even she herself wasn't sure.

On the other side, Ash returned home.

"Mom! I'm home!"

As soon as he opened the door, he was greeted by the wafting aroma of food; someone must be cooking.

"You're back? Must be tired! Go take a bath and rest first, dinner will be ready soon." Delia stood in the kitchen, delighted to see Ash return, a cooking spoon still in her hand.

She had clearly known Ash was coming back and had already begun preparing a rich dinner for him.

"Thanks, Mom! I'm going upstairs first." It felt really good to have someone in the family who constantly cared. After transmigrating to this world for a few days, he had experienced a feeling different from his previous life.

After thanking her, Ash went upstairs. Delia, however, stood frozen in place.

"This child, he's really grown up!" While he couldn't be called a bad child before, the carefree Ash had never said thank you. This couldn't help but touch Delia's heart.

Ash, of course, didn't know that a casual remark had moved his mom so much. Upstairs, he took a bath, changed into new clothes, dried his hair, and then lay on the bed.

With his hands clasped behind his head and his legs crossed, he stared at the ceiling, recalling the previous events. It felt a bit strange.

Although he had watched many anime and possessed an adult's mind, that was the only reason he could command Pokémon battles with such composure. However, even with high experience, it wasn't possible to do what he did then.

After all, those weren't his Pokémon, but he could somehow emotionally know what moves they could use, and his commands weren't overly detailed.

Yet, they could execute his thoughts, as if he knew what they were thinking, and they knew what he was thinking, subtly carrying out the plan in his mind.

He remembered that Ash in the anime was quite special, but he didn't seem to have this ability. He recalled that in the movies, Ash seemed to possess Aura.

However, he couldn't use it as freely as the Aura Guardian. In this world, besides extraordinary Pokémon.

Many humans actually possessed special abilities, such as Aura, Psychic powers, Chosen One powers, Viridian powers, and Dragon powers.

Aura is a power present in all living things, though in most people it is very weak. However, Pokémon skilled in Aura can sense it, and some people's Aura is very strong, even to the point where they can use it.

Those who can sense Aura fluctuations and also possess Aura can use this power for inner communication, but only if both parties' Aura is strong enough can they communicate.

Psychic powers are abilities where some individuals can use their thoughts and mental energy to manipulate objects and fight, and even directly use telepathy for communication.

Chosen One powers are powerful abilities that appeared in the movies, also possessing the power to communicate with Pokémon. They can also soothe the emotions of Legendary Pokémon, preventing their world-destroying powers from posing a threat.

As for Viridian powers, they only appeared in the Pokémon Special manga. It is said to be a power bestowed by the Viridian Forest.

This power is passed down every ten years. It not only allows one to read Pokémon's thoughts but also directly heal Pokémon. In Pokémon Special, only the Elite Four Champion Lance possesses this power.

And he also inherited a power in the Johto region, Smogmoke City, that allows him to control Dragon-type and Dragon-related Pokémon—Dragon powers. He is the only one who possesses dual powers.

However, his own power seemed different from all of the above. The mind-link was somewhat similar to Aura; as long as their Auras were synchronized, they could cooperate tacitly even without using Aura.

Being able to control completely unfamiliar Pokémon was also like Dragon powers, but it wasn't limited to Dragon-types. No matter what, these powers, no matter how closely linked to Pokémon, were still separate.

But to put it clearly, Ash himself felt that his power was as if he himself had become a Pokémon. And it seemed that when the Pokémon got tired, he got even more tired. This power was not among the ones mentioned above.

He had never encountered it either. Perhaps it was a power from later anime series that he was unfamiliar with! But it shouldn't be appearing now. It seemed this was a benefit for transmigrators.

"Forget it! Anyway, it's a good thing."

Although he couldn't figure it out and didn't know what this power was, even though it wasn't a system or an old man like other transmigrators often got, he was already very satisfied with having this power.

All he needed to figure out was how to properly hone this power and unleash it.
