Claudia sat down while bowing her head in shame after she accidentally pushed Davion down and got on top of him.
She admitted that she was just too scared, so she didn't do it on purpose.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do it, are you okay?" she asked him out of concern that Davion was in pain.
"Luckily I'm fine. I didn't hit my head on anything earlier," he replied.
She nodded her head, understanding and feeling grateful that nothing bad happened after she hit him earlier.
But the sound of thunder and lightning was still heard, making Claudia sit closer to Davion again.
"Are you afraid of the rumbling sound?" he asked.
"It was louder than usual. I'm usually not that scared, it's just that when it's too loud it sounds scary," Claudia said.
But her words were met with laughter by Davion. He said that Claudia was like a child who was frightened by the rumbling and ran to her parents.
Her face immediately pouted because she was a bit annoyed to hear it. But that facial expression actually made Davion feel more interested and also thought that Claudia was very cute.
"But how long will the lights go out like this? Should we check with the electrical switches outside?"
Davion agrees with that, he has an electrical switch in the shed behind his house. He hoped the power outage wasn't due to water leaking and causing a short in the switch.
"If it's like that, it will take a few days for the electricity in my house to come back on. I'll have to get a repairman to fix the electricity in my house," he replied.
The two of them finally decided to go to the small shed in Davion's backyard.
"It turns out that the switch is indeed down. I'll raise it again so that the electricity in my house will turn on."
Claudia nodded, while holding an umbrella, she looked around the deserted backyard but there were lots of beautiful flowers.
Davion put on his anti-electricity gloves so that he wouldn't get shocked.
"Be careful, Mr. Davion," Claudia said.
"Easy it's- UKKHH!!!" Suddenly Davion's body seemed to be electrocuted, which made Claudia very panicked.
"MR. DAVION! Oh my God, what should I do?!" she asked in confusion while looking around fearfully.
She was worried that something had happened to the middle-aged man, because of course being electrocuted is a very dangerous thing and can make someone die on the spot.
However, in the midst of her panic, Davion suddenly chuckled at Claudia's reaction. It turned out that he was just playing around, and showed that he was fine.
"There are no leaks here, so there's no electricity flowing and I'm also wearing my electric gloves," he said.
Seeing that Davion was fine, Claudia immediately put down her umbrella and hugged him tightly.
The woman really felt so scared when it looked like he was being shocked strongly, making her worried that something bad would happen.
"You idiot, don't play games like that! You're making me so scared that something will happen to you!" she said angrily while crying.
Davion felt so confused, why would she cry like that when he just wanted to joke with her.
At first he thought that maybe Claudia would laugh, scolding him lightly for playing around like that.
'I was just trying to break the ice. It's been a long time since I've joked like this, and I thought it would still be funny to do it to a young lady like her. Instead she acted like this,' Davion thought with some surprise.
He didn't expect that her reaction would turn out like this, but it made him feel so warm in his heart.
That warm feeling returned even though the rain was pouring down on both of them and it felt so cold.
But the hug in the rain was a way to make Davion feel something that had been missing from him for a long time.
"Ms. Claudia," he called softly.
Claudia pulled back slightly and looked up, looking at his face. From there Davion could see from those blue eyes of hers, that Claudia was very sincerely concerned about him and she was crying because she was really worried about him.
Her sincerity attracted Davion to want to always be closer even he didn't want to let go of that woman.
One hand wrapped around Claudia's waist, pulling their bodies closer until they were pressed against each other.
And his other hand, was at the nape of her neck and slowly pulled her closer to him.
"Mr. Davion..."
"Davion is enough," the man whispered as their lips were inches away from touching.
In the midst of a heavy downpour of rain, followed by thunder and lightning. A love grew between the two of them in an unexpectedly warm kiss.
In his mind, Davion knew this was wrong because Claudia was the love of his son and also a young woman.
However, his heart kept screaming to be with her, to protect her, and to be there at all times when Claudia needed someone.
The innocence and sincerity of that woman should be preserved. It should not be hurt by anyone. He would do anything to protect her, even if he had to protect her from his own son.
'Davion's lips are so soft and warm. My heart is beating so fast, I hope it won't explode because of this,' thought an overexcited Claudia.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling Davion closer to her.
Although the goal of Claudia had been to approach Davion in order to become Mrs. Davidson, but slowly she really fell in love with him.
From the beginning Claudia never wanted Davion's possessions or anything else.
His calm and gentle demeanor, as well as being very caring was enough to attract the young woman's heart.
And she also began to realize, even before the reborn where she turned back in time to 3 years before her death, Davion had loved her first.
'He came in my last moments, and apologized to me for not being able to protect me. I was too in love with Yohan and thought that he was my lover's father. But it turns out that he was secretly always there for me and protected me,' she thought, sinking further into the love that Davion was finally able to show.
In the past perhaps the man could only keep quiet without showing his feelings. But now he could be more confident to love Claudia after she shared the same feelings with him.
'I know it's wrong, but I can't hold myself back any longer from loving her,' Davion said in his heart as he kissed Claudia's greeting and crushed her lips.
It had been a very long time since this overwhelming feeling had arisen in his heart. He felt scared to be hurt again, but all of this was already unbearable.
Claudia kissed Davion back and followed his every tongue play until they both pulled away and chuckled together. Their foreheads pressed against each other.
Even without saying anything, they both knew their hearts were connected to each other.
